Notch Battery processes battery, power, display, and Wi-Fi connection details locally on your Mac. AGM Apps does not receive those details, and the app contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, or AGM Apps account system.
Internet Address is an optional premium feature that is off by default. If you enable it in Settings, the app requests your public IP address and its associated country from country.is. That service necessarily receives your public IP address and ordinary connection and request information; country.is states that it does not log requests. The response stays temporarily in memory and is not sent to AGM Apps.
Apple's StoreKit may communicate with the App Store to display products, verify access, complete a purchase, or restore a purchase. Apple handles that transaction data under its own privacy policy. If you email us for support, we receive the information you choose to include in your message.
This policy explains how the Notch Battery macOS application handles information. The separate AGM Apps Website Privacy Policy explains what happens when you visit agmapps.net, including ordinary requests to the site's hosting, font, and icon providers.
When this policy says AGM Apps does not collect app data, it means the app does not send that data to AGM Apps. Notch Battery still reads the local system values needed to provide its features.

Notch Battery reads the following information to provide its features. Unless stated otherwise, these values are used temporarily in memory and are not saved as a history.
The app reads battery percentage, charging state, power source, time remaining, capacity, health, cycle count, temperature, battery condition, adapter information, and available charging or discharging telemetry through macOS power-source and IOKit services. It also reads active-display geometry and safe-area information to position the notch indicator without covering the notch or system controls.
Some values depend on what your Mac's hardware, firmware, and macOS version publish. When a value is missing or invalid, the app displays "Unavailable." A value labeled as an estimate or derived system-use figure is calculated locally from available telemetry and is not a calibrated wall-meter reading.
The Wi-Fi card reads local connection details through Apple's CoreWLAN framework, including connection status, negotiated Wi-Fi generation, frequency band, channel, signal strength, and transmit rate when macOS provides them. The app does not scan nearby networks or record a connection history. The Wi-Fi card does not read your local or private IP address. The separate Internet Address feature described in Section 4 looks up your public IP address online.
macOS requires Location authorization before an app can reveal the name, or SSID, of the connected Wi-Fi network. Notch Battery requests this permission only when you choose Allow Wi-Fi Name, not automatically at launch. If the standard request does not change the authorization status, the app may briefly start Core Location updates to trigger the permission prompt. Delivered coordinates are discarded unread. Updates stop when authorization is decided, a callback arrives, or the 30-second request timeout expires. The app does not store or transmit location coordinates.
Indicator style, placement, thickness, brightness, colors, refresh speed, menu-bar display choices, the Internet Address on-or-off choice, and similar settings are stored in your Mac's local preferences. AGM Apps does not receive them.
If you enable Launch at Login, macOS registers Notch Battery as a login item through Apple's supported ServiceManagement framework. You can disable it in the app or in System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions.
Notch Battery runs inside the macOS App Sandbox and has outbound-network access for the limited functions described below. The app does not upload battery readings, battery hardware details, Wi-Fi names, other Wi-Fi connection details, settings, or usage data to AGM Apps, and AGM Apps does not operate an app backend that receives them.
Internet Address requires an active trial or lifetime unlock and your explicit opt-in. Enabling it can immediately make an HTTPS request to country.is. While enabled, opening the popover may request a result if the previous result is over 10 minutes old; you can also refresh manually. The app does not contact a fallback provider. Existing development installations that enabled the lookup by default must opt in again.
The service that answers the request necessarily sees the public IP address used by your internet connection and may receive ordinary HTTPS connection and request information. Notch Battery uses only the returned public IP address and two-letter country code. It does not intentionally include your battery data, Wi-Fi name, hardware serial numbers, app settings, or a custom advertising or tracking identifier in the request.
The app uses an ephemeral network session with cookies disabled and no on-disk response cache. The result is kept in memory, reused for up to 10 minutes, and discarded when you quit the app or turn the feature off. Turning the feature off in Settings cancels an active lookup and prevents further Internet Address requests unless you enable it again. AGM Apps does not directly receive the request or its result.
Apple's StoreKit framework can communicate with App Store services on the app's behalf to retrieve product information, verify current entitlements, process a purchase, and respond when you choose Restore Purchases. These are Apple services, not AGM Apps servers.
When offered in the released app, the 14-day trial and one-time lifetime unlock are provided through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Apple processes payment information, the Apple Account, storefront information, transaction records, and purchase eligibility under the Apple Privacy Policy. AGM Apps does not receive your payment card, billing address, or Apple Account credentials.
Notch Battery reads StoreKit transaction and entitlement results on your Mac so it can determine whether the trial or lifetime unlock is active. The app does not send those results to an AGM Apps server. For purchase, restoration, and refund terms, see the Notch Battery Terms of Use.
Separately, Apple may provide developers with privacy-protected App Store metrics and crash information from people who choose to share diagnostics and usage information with Apple and app developers. Apple controls that collection and applies privacy thresholds to its reports. Notch Battery does not add its own analytics code, and Apple does not provide AGM Apps with the battery readings, Wi-Fi details, or settings described in Section 3 through those reports. You can manage analytics sharing in macOS System Settings.
Notch Battery contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, tracking SDK, social-media SDK, or third-party crash-reporting SDK. It does not use an advertising identifier or create an AGM Apps user profile. Its runtime frameworks are supplied by Apple as part of macOS or the Apple developer SDK.
The optional Internet Address feature uses country.is as described in Section 4. Its published service information states that requests are not logged. The provider and its infrastructure operators, rather than AGM Apps, control the service's security and handling of requests. Their practices may change independently of Notch Battery; the lookup can be disabled at any time.
If you email AGM Apps, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include, such as your name, Mac model, screenshots, or diagnostic details. Please do not send information that is not needed to answer your question. We use support messages only to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and keep reasonable business records. We retain them only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or as required by law.
Email is delivered through Microsoft Outlook and is subject to the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Notch Battery does not automatically attach battery data, Wi-Fi details, or diagnostic files to a support email.
Live battery, power, display, and Wi-Fi values are refreshed in memory and are not kept as a usage history. The Internet Address result is held in memory, may be reused for up to 10 minutes, and is discarded when you turn off the feature or quit the app. Local preferences remain on your Mac until you change or remove them. Purchase entitlement records are maintained by Apple and made available to the app through StoreKit.
The app does not write the public IP address or country to diagnostic logs. macOS may retain local operational logs about errors and permission status. If you choose Copy Diagnostics, the copied report can contain hardware identifiers and Wi-Fi details; review it before sharing. Nothing is automatically sent to AGM Apps. The macOS App Sandbox and code signing limit access, but no software can guarantee absolute security.
Notch Battery is a general-purpose Mac utility and is not directed to children. The app does not create accounts or send usage data to AGM Apps. If a child contacts us for support and a parent or guardian asks us to delete that message, they may contact us using the address below.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information AGM Apps holds about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or complain to your local privacy authority.
AGM Apps does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because Notch Battery does not send app activity or device readings to AGM Apps, most requests to AGM Apps will concern only information you voluntarily sent in a support message. The Internet Address providers and Apple handle information under their own policies; requests concerning information held by those providers should be directed to them. We may need enough information to locate and verify relevant AGM Apps correspondence, but we will not ask for unnecessary identification.

We may update this policy when Notch Battery's features, distribution, or information practices change. The date at the top will show when the revised policy takes effect. If a future version begins sending new categories of information to AGM Apps, we will update the policy and provide any notice or choice required by law.
