AGM Apps does not collect, sell, or share any personal information through this website. There are no accounts, no forms, no analytics, and no advertising cookies set by us. The sections below describe in detail what limited interactions do occur — most of them involve only your browser and third parties, not us.
We do not operate any servers that gather personal data from visitors. Specifically, AGM Apps does not collect:
This website is a static portfolio. It does not set first-party tracking cookies and does not transmit your activity to AGM Apps. The one piece of server-side state we keep is a single running total of how many times the Mac Audio Sync installer has been downloaded — one number, shared by everyone, with nothing attached to it. See Section 5.
The homepage offers an optional local weather widget. If you choose to enable it, your browser will prompt you for permission to share your location with the page. AGM Apps does not store, log, or transmit your location to any server we operate — we run no such server. Your coordinates are held in memory only and are discarded when you leave the page.
Two third parties receive your coordinates while the widget is on, and we want to name both rather than just the obvious one:
The coordinates your browser supplies are as precise as your device chooses to make them, which on a phone can be quite precise. If you would rather not share that, decline the browser prompt — the rest of the site works normally without it.
If you decline the prompt or never enable the widget, no location data is accessed and neither service is contacted.
The site also remembers your answer to the widget's own consent question in your browser's local storage, under the key weather-consent, so it does not have to ask again. That is a single preference value stored on your own device — not a cookie, and it is never sent anywhere. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Like most modern websites, this site loads a few assets from external providers. Those providers may automatically log your IP address and browser information when your browser requests their files. AGM Apps does not receive or store this data. The services in use are:
Google Fonts, Font Awesome, QR Server and Placehold.co are contacted automatically when a page loads, because their files are part of the page. Open-Meteo and Nominatim are contacted only if you switch the weather widget on. We receive nothing from any of them.
This site links out to the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Amazon Appstore, PayPal, and other third-party destinations. Once you click an outbound link, you are subject to that destination's own privacy practices. AGM Apps has no control over and assumes no responsibility for how those services handle your data.
When the "Recommends" page goes live, it will contain Amazon Associates affiliate links. Clicking those links may cause Amazon to set its own cookies; AGM Apps receives only aggregate commission reporting and never receives information identifying individual buyers.
This website provides a direct download of the Mac Audio Sync installer (a .dmg file). The download link passes through a small function on our host that adds one to a global download counter and then sends you on to the file. The homepage reads that same counter to display the total.
To be specific about what that function does and does not do: it increments a single shared number. It does not read your IP address, does not read your browser headers, does not write a log entry about you, and does not set a cookie. There is no record that you downloaded anything — only that the total went up by one. Our host, Cloudflare, necessarily handles the network request itself and keeps its own standard operational logs, as any web host does.

AGM Apps does not set any first-party cookies on this website. Third-party services listed above may set cookies as part of serving their content; you can block or clear these through your browser settings without affecting the function of the site (aside from font rendering).
This site is a general-audience portfolio and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the site evolves — for example, if we ever add analytics, a contact form, or a newsletter. When that happens, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will change. We encourage you to revisit periodically.
