This Privacy Policy describes how Lotto Audit (the "App") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our Android application. AGM Apps ("we," "our," or "us") is a software developer established in the State of Florida, United States.
There are no user accounts in Lotto Audit, and there is no advertising in the Android version. We never ask who you are, we operate no server that receives your calculations, and no advertising SDK is built into this app. In practice that means nothing about you or your calculations reaches AGM Apps or any advertising company.
Lotto Audit is designed with privacy in mind. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not store your financial data on our servers.
All calculations, history, and user preferences (such as state of residence and filing status) are stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device.
The Android version of Lotto Audit contains no advertising. No advertising SDK is compiled into the app — not Google AdMob, not any other network. Nothing reads your Android Advertising ID, no ad request is ever made, and no advertising company receives your IP address or anything else through this app. The app also never requests or accesses your device location, and AGM Apps collects no crash or diagnostic logs.
Local data (history and preferences) is retained on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app. AGM Apps does not store or retain any user data on its servers.
There is exactly one third party involved in running this app, and it is not an advertiser:
To show current jackpot amounts, the App downloads a small public data file from GitHub (raw.githubusercontent.com). This is a plain one-way download of public lottery figures — the request carries no information about you beyond what any web request necessarily reveals to the host serving it, namely your IP address, and it contains nothing about your audits or numbers. GitHub's handling of that request is governed by GitHub's Privacy Statement.
Because the Android version serves no advertising and collects nothing about you, there is no advertising consent to ask for and no consent form to show. If a future version ever introduces advertising, we will update this Privacy Policy and put a consent flow in place before that version is released.
AGM Apps, a software developer established in the State of Florida, United States, is the controller of the limited personal data described in this Policy. Contact details are in Section 11. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to under Article 37 GDPR.
Where the App stores data only on your device — your audits, saved numbers, state of residence, filing status, and preferences — you control that data and we are neither its controller nor its processor. We have no technical means of reaching it.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, the GDPR requires us to tell you the lawful basis for each thing we do:

Entering your state or filing status is not a statutory or contractual requirement — but the App cannot calculate a tax figure without it. There is no automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects, and no profiling of you by us.
AGM Apps is established in the United States, but this App sends us nothing, so there is no personal data for us to transfer anywhere. The only outbound request the App makes is the one-way download of the public jackpot file from GitHub described in Section 2, which necessarily reveals your IP address to GitHub's servers in the same way that loading any web page does. That transfer relies on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions where the recipient is certified, and otherwise on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as set out in Google's own terms. We operate no servers of our own, so we transfer nothing ourselves.
Because we run no user accounts and hold nothing linked to your identity, we will frequently be unable to identify you within the meaning of Article 11(2), and we will say so plainly rather than pretend otherwise. The practical upshot is better than it sounds: you can exercise access, correction, and erasure yourself, instantly, inside the App.
Start with the shape of the risk: because the App has no user accounts and your audits never reach our servers, a breach of our systems could not expose that data. There is nothing there to take.
If we do become aware of a security incident affecting personal information under our control, we will investigate immediately and:
We want to be straight with you about one limitation: we hold no email address or other contact details for you, so we cannot send you a personal message. Publication in the App and on our website is how you would be told. We would rather state that honestly than promise a notification we have no way to deliver.
You have full control over your data, and most of it is exercised directly in the App rather than by asking us:
Lotto Audit is a tax-calculation utility intended for adults of legal lottery-playing age, and it is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
For parents: because the App keeps everything on the device, the fastest and most complete deletion path is in your hands — open the App and clear the History screen, or clear the app's data or uninstall it from Android Settings, which removes all of its stored data immediately. If you believe a child has provided information through the App and you would like our help, or you want us to confirm what we hold (which, for the reasons in Section 4, is nothing tied to any individual), contact us at [email protected] and we will respond.
This section applies if you live in a U.S. state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law — including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island, plus any other state whose law is in effect when you read this. Where a right below exists only under your state's law, we honor it for residents of that state.
Using the categories named in the California Consumer Privacy Act:
We never receive your audits, jackpot figures, saved numbers, state of residence, or filing status. They live on your device. We hold no copy and have no way to look them up. We collect no name, no email address, no Social Security number, no financial account or card numbers, no precise location, no biometrics, no health data, no contacts, and no messages.
We do not collect sensitive personal information and never use personal information to infer characteristics about you. Note that your state of residence and filing status stay on your device and are used only to select the correct tax rates for the calculation — they are not transmitted to us or to any advertising partner.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. That is not a careful reading of the statute — there is simply nothing to sell or share. The Android version of this App has no advertising SDK, reads no advertising identifier, and sends us no data at all. No third party receives information about you through this App, for advertising or for anything else.
We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16, and we could not do so even if we wanted to.
Where these web pages are read in a browser that sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing for that browser. Within the App there is nothing for such a signal to switch off, because no sale or sharing occurs.
Email [email protected] with the request type in the subject line. We operate entirely online and deal with you directly, so email is our designated method. We will acknowledge within 10 business days and answer within 45 days, extendable once by another 45 with notice.
About verification: the App has no user accounts and we hold nothing tied to your name, so in most cases we genuinely cannot connect any record to you as a person. We will say so plainly rather than pretend otherwise, and we will treat a deletion request as an opt-out of sale and sharing. The fastest and most complete remedy is in your own hands: clear your History in the App, or uninstall it. That erases everything, immediately.
Authorized agents may act for you with your signed permission or a valid power of attorney. We may contact you to confirm it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if a future version ever introduces advertising or a new third-party service. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision, and significant changes will be communicated through an App update. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
